In most cases this can be a new main staircase, staircase to the loft or a replacement of the old existing staircase. They must be manufactured taking into account specific features like your specific height, room space and shape, materials and building regulations.

The materials play a big role to determine the price. The cheapest option would be if the staircase is covered with carpet and painted. At the other end of the price will be if the whole staircase is build from premium hardwood and varnished.
The cost of an Oak staircase can be exponentially more expensive than a standard specification staircase. However, it’s possible to have a striking staircase without having the whole staircase in white oak, which makes the cost significantly cheaper.
